View our selection of flanges designed for fixed mounting pneumatic cylinders that adhere to ISO 6432 via the cap-end. Cap-end flanges allow for easy assembly and disassembly while having a good centerline force transfer. Cap-end flanges are secured to the cylinder by sliding it over the cylinder’s housing and then using a bolt to screw onto the cylinder housing and secure the mounting plate. The mounting plate then has either two holes or slits to use bolts to secure it to the mounting surface. Ideally, you have a flange on the front and back of the cylinder, otherwise, they can only be used for pushing applications (back flange) or pulling applications (front flange) to minimize bending stressed.
