Delivery

Before delivery: placing the order and payment

Placing orders is convenient, safe and quick. All orders are sent over a secure SSL connection. You can pay using your preferred payment method (Credit and Debit Cards, Paypal, Sofort, Bank Transfer). Once payment is received, your order will immediately be processed and shipped. Please visit the page payment methods for more information.

Important: VAT regulation

Tameson is a Dutch company. Consumers in the European Union receive an invoice including Dutch VAT (21%). Customers outside of the European Union are taxed at 0% VAT. Customers within the EU with a valid VAT number are taxed at 0% VAT. This is called an Intra-Community acquisition. Please include your VAT number in the Checkout Page. The VAT number will be checked and if the check is positive the invoice will automatically be adapted to an Intra-Community acquisition.

Products out of stock

In the case that a product is out of stock or partially in stock, please contact customer service to see your options. They can inform you of your options and estimated stocking date and/or delivery date. If you would like to be notified of the stock status of a certain item, you can choose to receive a message from customer service as soon as this item is available again.

Tameson shipping time

All of our orders are handled with the greatest care, well packed, and insured against damage or loss. Orders that are placed before 15h GMT are shipped the same (business) day from our central warehouse.  Please note that if you choose the payment method 'bank transfer', the order will be shipped on the day the invoice amount is credited to our account. Please view our map for European estimated shipping time in business days. 99% of our orders are shipped through UPS.

Can I pick up my order?

No, this is not possible. Tameson is an online store and has no brick and mortar store, instead we provide good online support and fast delivery of your order.

My country is not listed on the checkout page

If your country cannot be selected in the checkout process, please contact our customer support. In many situations a solution can be arranged.

UPS delivery options

There are various options for having your package delivered. The order can be delivered to your private address, a commercial address or to a UPS Access Point.

Private address delivery

If you have provided a private address as the delivery address, UPS will make one attempt to deliver the package to you. If you are not present at that moment, your package will be delivered at a UPS Access Point in your area. The driver will leave an InfoNotice in your mailbox with more information about your package. Take this note and a valid proof of identity when you pick up your package at the UPS Access Point. Alternatively, you can request a second delivery attempt with UPS My choice.

Commercial address delivery

If you have specified a commercial address as the delivery address, UPS will attempt to deliver several times. In case of failed delivery attempts, UPS will hold your package for a maximum of 5 days at a UPS DC in your area. UPS will contact you in these 5 days to schedule a final delivery moment in consultation.

UPS access point delivery

At the checkout page you can first enter your (delivery) address. If delivery at a UPS Access Point is possible in your area, you can choose a pickup location. This way you can easily collect your parcel at a suitable time. You don't have to be at home at the time of delivery. You will receive tracking code by email, so you know when your parcel is ready for collection. If you have indicated that you want to collect your package at a UPS Access Point, UPS will send you a message when your package has been delivered to the AccessPoint. Do not forget to bring a valid proof of identity when you pick up your package.

Follow your order

As soon as your order is processed, you will receive a tracking code to follow your parcel along the route. You can then check the status on the UPS website.

Shipping costs

If your total order exceeds our free total limit, you are eligible for free shipment if your entire order can be delivered in one shipment. The following shipping costs apply:

  • Netherlands and Belgium: €4.95 ex vat is charged on transport costs. Free if total order is over €75 (excluding vat).
  • United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland): £4.95 ex vat is charged on transport costs. Free if total order is over £75 (ex vat). Excluding islands.
  • Other Countries: The quickest way to see your actual delivery cost is adding a product to cart and selecting your country. Please see the table below for popular country's transport costs ex vat. If you have any questions please contact us.
