Before delivery: placing the order and payment

Placing orders is convenient, safe and quick. All orders are sent over a secure SSL connection. You can pay using your preferred payment method (Credit and Debit Cards, Paypal, Sofort, Bank Transfer). Once payment is received, your order will immediately be processed and shipped. Please visit the page payment methods for more information.

Important: VAT regulation

Tameson.co.uk is a Dutch company. Consumers receive an invoice including dutch VAT (21%). Customers with a valid VAT number are taxed at 0% VAT. This is called an Intra-Community acquisition. Please include your VAT number in the Checkout Page. The VAT number will checked and if the check is positive the invoice will automatically be adapted to an Intra-Community acquisition.

Delivery and Transit Time

Orders that are placed before 15h00, are shipped by UPS on the same (business) day from our central warehouse. Shipment are handled with great care and are insured against damage and loss. The delivery time to the UK is 2 business days for the largest part of the country. Please note that if you choose the payment method 'bank transfer', the order will be shipped on the day the invoice amount is credited to our account.

Which route does your package cover?

All orders are handled with the greatest care. All parcels are well packed and insured against damage or loss. As soon as your order is processed, you will receive a track and trace code to follow your parcel along the route. There are various options for having your package delivered. The order can be done delivered at to your private address, a commercial address or directly atto a UPS Access Point. Below you find more information about the different options.

I have my order delivered to a private address

If you have provided a private address as the delivery address, UPS will make one attempt to deliver the package to you. If you are not present at that moment, your package will be delivered at a UPS Access Point in your area. The driver will leave an InfoNotice in your mailbox with more information about your package. Take this note and a valid proof of identity when you pick up your package at the UPS Access Point. Alternatively, yYou can request a second delivery attempt with UPS My choice.

I have my order delivered to a commercial address

If you have specified a commercial address as the delivery address, UPS will attempt to deliver several times. In case of failed delivery attempts, UPS will hold your package for a maximum of 5 days at a UPS DC in your area in case of failed delivery attempts. UPS will contact you in these 5 days to schedule a final delivery moment in consultation.

I have chosen to collect my order from a UPS Access Point

When In many cases it is possible to deliver your order at a UPS Access Point. At the checkout page you can first enter your (delivery) address. If delivery at a UPS Access Point is possible in your area, you can choose a pickup location. This way you can easily collect your parcel at a suitable time. You don't have to be at home at the time of delivery. You will receive track&trace information by email, so you know when your parcel is ready for collection. If you have indicated that you want to collect your package at a UPS Access Point, UPS will send you a message when your package has been delivered to the AccessPoint. Do not forget to bring a valid proof of identity when you pick up your package.

Delivery at a UPS Access Point in your area

In many cases it is possible to deliver your order at a UPS Access Point. At the checkout page you can first enter your (delivery) address. If delivery at a UPS Access Point is possible in your area, you can choose a pickup location in the Delivery Methods. This way you can easily collect your parcel at a suitable time. You don't have to be at home at the time of delivery. You will receive track&trace information by email, so you know when your parcel is ready for collection.

Shipping costs

Orders with an order size from £75 ex VAT are delivered free of charge to the UK (with exception of the islands), under the condition that the entire order may be delivered in one shipment. Orders under £75 are charged with a shipping fee of £4.95 ex VAT.

Can I pick up my order?

No, this is not possible. Tameson.co.uk is an online store and has no brick and mortar store, instead we provide good online support and fast delivery of your order.

Shipping outside the UK

In our webshop you can only specify addresses in the United Kingdom. If you would like to specify a delivery address in another country, please visit Tameson.com. Dutch and Belgian visitors can use Tameson.nl. If your country is not listed, please contact our customer support. In many situations a solution can be arranged.
