Nickel-plated brass DN 5 brown color coded air coupling plug with G 1/8 inch male threads. A pneumatic coupling is used to quickly connect air tools to a compressed air line. The coupling requires two parts: the socket (female) and the plug or nipple (male part). When disconnected, the coupling automatically shuts off to maintain the line pressure.

These air couplings are available in different colors with each a distinctive connection shape (octagon, triangle, circle). Plug and sockets of the same color can be combined, in this case brown. Two different colors cannot be combined. This prevents the risk of accidentally connecting to a wrong medium or pressure line. Please note that the color coded plugs are compatible to standard non-color coded sockets. The G 1/8 inch male threads allow for it to be threaded onto a matching female threaded part. This coupling is suitable for vacuum applications. The operating pressure range is -0.95 to 35 bar. The plug is suitable for temperatures between -20 to 100°C. The rated flow rate is 550 l/min. The Nickel-plated brass housing has a nickel-plated surface protection.
