This electronic condensate drain uses a combination of a capacitive sensor and an indirect operated solenoid valve to discharge the built-up condensate from a pneumatic system. Oil-contaminated condensate is handled without problem, at a maximum rate of 120 l/h at 7 bar (31.7 gal/h at 101.5 psi). It is suitable to be used with a maximum compressor capacity of 30 m3/min (1060 cfm), a maximum refrigeration dryer performance of 60 m3/min (2120 cfm) and it has a maximum filter performance of 60 m3/min (2120 cfm). This condensate drain is designed for operating pressures ranging from 0.8 to 16 bar (11.6 to 232 psi) and operating temperatures ranging from 1 to 60°C (33.8 to 140°F).

This automatic condensate drain is equipped with two G 1/2 inch female threaded inlet ports and two outlet ports, a G 1/2 inch threaded port and 13 mm hose pillar.

The condensate drain should be positioned at the lowest point in the system to collect all the condensate. When the condensate fills up the drain valve to a preset level it will open and discharge through its outlet ports. The condensate can then for instance be sent to an oil and water separator. The operating voltage for this valve is 230 V AC and it is manufactured to an IP65 protection class.

This model is optimized for easy handling, installation and maintenance. It has a durable housing design consisting of corrosion-resistant aluminum, while the large valve diameters prevent clogs and emulsion formation. Refer to the user manual for proper use.

Pros:

  • Low operating costs as there is no loss of compressed air during draining
  • Durable and resistant to dirt
  • No delicate mechanical components

Cons:

  • Not suitable for aggressive condensate

BEKOMAT 13 series

The BEKOMAT 12, 13, 14, 16 series are designed to drain off condensate without loss of compressed air, thus reducing energy costs and CO2 emission. This is possible because of the combination of a capacitive sensor, smart electronics for volume-controlled condensate discharge and an indirect operated solenoid valve. These drains are suitable for oil-contaminated, oil-free and aggressive condensates up to a maximum pressure of 16 bar and a maximum temperature of 60°C. They are equipped with various inlet and outlet ports. Their power supply is 230 V AC and they are manufactured to a protection class IP 65. These cost-effective condensate drains are characterized by a durable design and a long and reliable service life.
