The valve has DN25 PN40 flanges for connection. The housing and the ball of the valve are made of stainless steel with a PTFE sealing. The actuator is suitable for both 24 volt DC (direct current) and 24 volt AC 50\/60Hz (alternating current). With switches on the circuit board, the actuator can be set for AC or DC. The factory default setting is direct current (DC). The actuator has a robust aluminium housing (IP67, provided that an appropriate cable is connected) and delivers maximally 40 Nm torque. The valve rotates from 0 to 90 degrees in 8 seconds. When the ball reaches an end position, the electric motor is turned off and no energy is consumed. The actuator is equipped with two additional limit switches for position-feedback. The limit switches are positioned at 0 and 90 degrees. If required, the angular position of the switches can be adjusted by the user. A mechanical position indicator on the top of the actuator shows the valve position. The actuator is equipped with a manual override.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe valve has a 25 mm bore, with Kv value of 84 m\u003csup\u003e3\u003c\/sup\u003e\/h (Cv = 97.1 gpm). Kv expresses the flow rate of water in m\u003csup\u003e3\u003c\/sup\u003e\/h at a pressure drop of one bar. The valve is rated up to 40 bar at 20°C (579 psi at 68°F). It is suitable for temperatures from -29°C up to 160°C (-20°F up to 320°F).
