Electric Ball Valves

Explore Tameson's wide range of electric ball valves from various global manufacturers. Electric ball valves, also called motorized ball valves, are used to control the flow of a media (liquid or gas), by means of a rotating ball with a bore. The rotating ball is controlled by an electric actuator that connects directly to the ball valve stem, rotating it a quarter turn. An electric-actuated ball valve can be broken down into two main components, namely, the electric actuator (servo motor) and the ball valve. An electric ball valve is one of the most common valves due to its simple operation, reliability, long service life, and wide range of applications. A motorized ball valve is great for remotely controlling and/or for an automated application. They are commonly used as electric water ball valves or for heating units. An electrically actuated ball valve can be controlled to be open/closed (2-way), 3-point control, or modulated. The electric actuator and the ball valve are mounted together, typically with a standard flange adhering to ISO 5211. This allows both the electric actuator and ball valve to be swapped out with another one using the same flange size. There are various housings and sizes of electric ball valves to allow you to find the right one for your application.

Tameson also offers zone valves, ideal for optimizing temperature control in HVAC systems and other applications. These valves enable efficient zoning within a building, enhancing temperature control and energy efficiency.
