2-Way Electric Ball Valves

Explore Tameson's wide range of 2-way electric ball valves from various global manufacturers. A 2-way electric ball valve has two ports: an inlet and outlet and a ball with a bore in it. The electric actuator can turn the ball 90 degrees from open to closed (or closed to open), which is why they are often called quarter-turn ball valves, shut-off valves, or electric open-close valves. An electric-actuated ball valve can be broken down into two main components, namely, the electric actuator (servo motor) and the ball valve. 2-way electric ball valves are one of the most common valves due to their simple operation, reliability, long service life, and wide range of applications. Various connection styles are available (threaded, flanged, etc.) for easy installation. A threaded ball valve is the most common, as it can be simply threaded into an existing assembly. Various materials like brass, stainless steel, and PVC are used in the construction of 2-way electric ball valves. A motorized ball valve is great for remotely controlling and/or for an automated application. They are commonly used as electric water ball valves or for heating units.

Zone valves, combined with 2-way electric ball valves, are essential for fluid control in HVAC systems, boosting energy efficiency and climate control solutions.
