2-Way Pneumatic Ball Valves

Explore Tameson's wide range of 2-way pneumatic ball valves from leading global manufacturers. These valves control the flow of media - liquids or gases - using a rotating ball with a bore. A pneumatic actuator connects to the valve and converts compressed air into mechanical motion, rotating the ball 90° (a quarter turn) to open or close the valve. For larger valves, pneumatic actuation is often more cost-effective than electric actuation.

A 2-way pneumatic ball valve has two ports - an inlet and an outlet - and a ball with a bore. Because the actuator rotates the ball 90°, these valves are also called quarter-turn, on/off, or shut-off valves. When the valve is open, media flows from the inlet, through the bore, to the outlet. When the valve is closed, flow is blocked. They're commonly used to remotely control fluid flow, such as in water lines or compressed air systems.

2-way pneumatic ball valves are available in a range of housing materials - such as brass, stainless steel, and PVC - and in flanged steel or cast iron versions, to suit different media, pressures, and environments.
