Gasket sealants are used as gasketing adhesives, they replace traditional pre-cut gaskets and guarantee a tight seal between two surfaces. Due to the strong chemical nature of these products they are highly resistant against temperature, pressure, oxidation and vibrations. Two types are available, anaerobic liquids and fast-curing plastics. Both cure rapidly at room temperature and can be removed with standard tools for future maintenance.
