Mechanical Valves With Push-In Fittings
These valves are designed to direct the air flow to desired tubing by moving the spool to close or open the ports. All ports are equipped with a push-in fitting, sizes ranging from 4 to 6 mm.
These valves can be two or three-directional. The three-directional valves have a residual pressure release function. This means that they vent the compressed air out after closing which releases the system of the built-up pressure. Open air exhaust and tube exhaust types can be used depending on the need. The two-directional valves do not have the release which is useful in applications with tanks which need to keep the residual pressure.
The panel type mechanical valves have rotatable bodies with push-in fittings which allow you to direct the ports independently.
These valves can be actuated by pushing the pin by hand, by a micro switch with a roller and by a foot switch. The switches move a spool, which has lands and valleys, up or down. The land is a thicker part of the spool which prevents the flow while the valleys allow flow when they are positioned between the ports.
