Collection:Thread Seal Tapes

PTFE (Teflon) thread sealing tape is often used to seal threaded pipe connections. Alternatively, a liquid thread sealant can be used. Make sure that the sealant will not enter the pipe or valve. It is recommended when Teflon tape or other thread sealants have been applied, once you start tightening the connection to only turn in that direction and not turn back, even slightly, to assure maximum sealant properties.
