Cobra Knipex water pump pliers first hit the market in 1984 and have been a success ever since. Unique to this tool is the quick adjustment of jaw opening, memory retention, and the ability to hold it with one hand. Knipex jaws are strong, grip well, and will not let go. Notches are present on the upper and lower jaws. A hex nut can be grasped at the corner and the flat side of the tool so that it doesn't round off. The jaws meet at the tip of a flat nose that allows you to work in great detail.
