Arthur Sobolevsky
Arthur lives in Lviv, Ukraine. In 2016 he began working for Tameson. His free time he spends with his family, his wife and two children, a daughter and a son. His first higher education is Applied Mathematics at the Lviv Polytechnic University, but since his childhood he has been dreaming of becoming a financier. “I decided to obtain a second higher education and entered the Economics Faculty.” Arthur says. While studying at the University, he began to work. Since that time he has been working at different companies, holding different posts.
Working experience
“My first posts were programmer posts which corresponded to my first higher education at the University. For example, I worked at a company where we developed software for warehouse needs.” Arthur says. But after obtaining his second higher education he decided to change jobs and specialty. He moved to Kyiv and started working as an analyst. “It was an interesting job. I made an economic analysis of different companies and spheres. Also, I went on business trips to different cities in Ukraine. After some time, I returned to my native city Lviv and became an entrepreneur, and later a freelancer.”
Working at Tameson
In his early months with Tameson Arthur did different researches: prices, suppliers, competitors. But with the growth of the company, he started participating also in other tasks. Currently, his main job is product management. For a couple of last years, the process of adding new products has greatly changed, advanced and improved. “I saw how it was in the past and see how it is now. The structure and features of our products now correspond to ETIM, and control is done via the PIM system. But recently, we worked with large Excel files. It is interesting for me to participate in this process and pleasant to see how the company is developing using new IT possibilities.”
Studying
Science progresses at a great pace. Therefore, it is necessary to constantly study. If Arthur had much free time, then, possibly, he would again enter the university. “For example, it would be interesting for me to get to know more about genetic engineering and molecular biology. But because of lack of free time, I try to study on my own. Now I read books and different sites about Artificial intelligence and machine learning. I also teach my son programming.”
Manometers
“Since I work in product management, I have to know how they operate and what are their main features and specifications. I have seen these products in real life all the time, but I never imagined how they are constructed and how they operate. So, I have to find it out now” he says. Because his father was repairing pressure gauges, he often saw them at home and had some knowledge about gauges. “Perhaps for this reason this project was the easiest for me. And the products associated with pressure measurement and control are the most interesting for me.”
