Current position at Tameson

Digital Marketer

Currently based in

Serbia

Education background

I have a BA and MA in Dutch language, literature, and culture from the University of Belgrade.

Previous career experience

I started my career as an E-Commerce specialist focusing on the Dutch market. I wanted to find a job where I could apply the knowledge I gained at the University. This was a very exciting time as I used my language skills and learned a lot about digital marketing simultaneously. During this period, I realized I wanted to specialize in SEO.

Experience at Tameson

Working at Tameson has been a great experience because of the flexibility of remote work and highly skilled, motivated, and fun colleagues. The best thing about working at Tameson is the flexible work schedule. We can choose when to work if we follow some basic rules. I've found that knowing the basics of HTML (and CSS) is very helpful for this position, along with my knowledge of the English and Dutch languages.

Main responsibilities

My main responsibilities are analyzing the organic traffic and positions of various pages across all Tameson websites and suggesting improvements based on the analysis. I assist my team in creating content strategies, keyword research, SOPs, and more. I optimize articles post-writing and check if they've been published correctly. Additionally, I work on email marketing flows, data analytics dashboards, off-page SEO, YouTube optimization, and various other tasks.

Work-related challenges

Even though remote work is a big plus, it can be challenging occasionally. I try to improve my interaction with coworkers by attending Game Days and in-person meetups.

Memorable achievement at Tameson

My most memorable project so far was indexing URLs migrated from PrestaShop to Shopify.

Favorite product

Yes, I find FRL units pretty interesting because you can combine three or two different units together or use only one unit in your system.

Personal background

Favorite things

  • Music: I like listening mostly to Death Metal, specifically Brutal, Technical, and Melodic Death. Examples include Hour of Penance, Cryptopsy, Nile, Kalmah, early In Flames, and At the Gates.
  • Food: I love chocolate!

Memorable accomplishment

I'm very proud to have passed the N5 level of JLPT while at the University. Even though this is beginner level, it was my personal goal and achievement to celebrate the time spent studying Japanese.

Best advice received

The best advice I've ever received is, "Don't overthink, do it."
