Tameson Newsletter August 2020
In this newsletter we present liquid sealants and adhesives from Loxeal and Loctite that we have added to our online store. Many of these are suitable for threads, so we also explain the difference in common thread types in a video and article to help with your selection process. We are constantly looking for improvement, so do you have any additions or comments? Let us know!

New in our range!
Sealants and adhesives are used to prevent leakage, prevent the unscrewing of threaded pipe connections, to seal flange faces, to lock different types of connections and to reconnect broken pieces of an object. Depending on your application, you can choose the right sealant or adhesive.
Face sealants function as liquid gaskets.
Instant adhesives join together two surfaces.
Joint lockers replace traditional welding and mechanical retainers.
Surface modifiers prepare the surface before applying the adhesive.
Thread lockers are used to lock bolts, studs nuts and screws and to avoid loosening caused by stress and vibration.
Thread sealants expand in the holes between the threads and seal the connection. |
Which thread do I need?
Threads are standardized to ensure compatibility and ease of maintenance. For existing and new applications it is necessary to identify the thread type to ensure a good connection. Not sure which thread you need? Watch the video or read the article!
