Belimo Sensor Controlled PI-CCV 1/2x3/4 Kvs1.5 24VAC/DC BACnet/Modbus/MP-Bus EN1434 Two Sensors EV015R2+MID
This Belimo Energy Valve consists of a 2-way characterized control valve, a volumetric flow meter, two temperature sensors and an actuator. The valve is made of brass and has EPDM sealing. The bore diameter of the valve is DN 15 and the port size is Rp 1/2 inch and G 3/4 inch with female threads. With its integrated characterizing disc, it ensures equal percentage flow control, enabling precise and consistent regulation of fluid flow. The maximum pressure differential is 3.5 bar (50.8 psi). The valve can operate between -10 and 120 °C (14 to 248 °F). The Kv value of the valve is 1.5 m3/h, equivalent to a Cv-value of 1.74 gpm. The actuator requires a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC. The actuator supports BACnet MSTP/Modbus RTU/MP-Bus communication protocols and provides precise position feedback in the range of 0-10 V or 2-10 V DC, ensuring accurate and responsive control in various applications. The thermal energy meter currently has a sensor (T2) installed, while the installation of the second sensor (T1) is required at the opposite side of the water circuit onsite. The thermal energy meter complies with EN1434 standards and holds type approval as per the European Measuring Instruments Directive MID 2014/32/EU (MI-004). The thermal energy meter is approved as a heat meter. The actuator has an IP54 protection rating. The direction of flow, indicated by an arrow on the housing, is of utmost importance to prevent damage to the ball valve.

Series:
The Belimo EV-MID is a characterized control valve with a thermal energy meter. It's certified for heating applications according to MID and meets the requirements of EN 1434. This 2-way, internal thread valve is designed for closed cold and warm water systems, serving as a modulating control of air-handling and heating systems on the water side. It operates on a nominal voltage of AC/DC 24 V and supports modulating, communicative, and hybrid control. The valve also includes an Ethernet 10/100 Mbit/s, TCP/IP, and an integrated web server. Communication options include BACnet, Modbus, Belimo MP-Bus or conventional control. Power supply is possible through PoE (Power over Ethernet). Additionally, it aids in the conversion of sensor signals and comes in sizes ranging from DN15-50.
