G1/4'' Stainless Steel 316 Check Valve FKM 0.03-16bar (0.44-232psi) - NSF ANSI 61 [12 Pieces]

G 1/4 inch check valve made of stainless steel 316 with an FKM seal. The minimum differential pressure across the non-return valve must be higher than 0.03 bar (0.44 psi). The valve has a spring to close the valve when the flow is below the minimum pressure and to prevent backflow. The maximum operating pressure is 16 bar (232 psi). The valve is suitable for operating temperatures between -20 and 150° C (-4 to 302° F). The Kv-value is 2.5 m3/h (41.68 l/min @1 bar pressure). In imperial units: Cv = 2.89 GPM @ 1 psi pressure.

Pros:

• Suitable for drinking water according to NSF ANSI 61
• Stainless steel 316 has better chemical resistance than stainless steel 304
• FKM is suitable for oils, fuels, air, water and many chemicals

Cons:

• FKM is not suitable for boiling water or steam. EPDM or PTFE are suitable alternatives in this case
