Belimo Actuator 0-10/2-10V 24VAC/DC 90Nm IP54 150s F07 DR24A-MP-7
This Belimo electrical actuator is designed for controlling quarter turn valves. The actuator delivers a torque of 90 Nm and can open/close the valve in 150 seconds. This actuator requires a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC and has a visual positioning indicator to clearly see the valve position. The actuator utilizes the MP-Bus communication protocol and provides position feedback in the range of 0-10 V or 2-10 V, allowing for precise control and accurate monitoring of its position within the specified voltage range. The actuator mounts to a quarter turn valve with an ISO 5211 F07 flanges. The actuator has a durable plastic housing and has an IP54 protection rating. This actuator can operate within ambient temperatures between -30 and 50 °C (-22 and 122 °F). The actuator comes with a 1-meter power cable.

Description
The actuator is equipped with overload protection, the actuator doesn't need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. Due to its non-linear torque characteristic, the actuator is only suitable for butterfly valves and not for other valves. Manual override is possible using a push-button, which disengages the gear train as long as the button is pressed or remains locked. The actuator can be directly mounted on the butterfly valve. The mounting orientation relative to the butterfly valve can be chosen in increments of 90°. The actuator connects with a 0-10 V control signal and moves to the position defined by the signal. Voltage measurement is employed both for visually displaying the valve position within the 0.5% to 100% range and as a control signal for other actuators. In bus operation, the actuator receives its digital control signal from the upper-level controller via the MP-Bus and moves to the defined position. The U connection serves as a communication interface without providing an analog measuring voltage.
Pros:
- The ISO 5211 F07 mounting flange fits many quarter-turn valves
- Modulating actuator with a control signal of 0-10 V/2-10 V
- Manual override
- The actuator is overload protected
- Visual position indicator
Cons:
- Can only be used for butterfly valves
- The time to open/close of 150 s is slow for some applications
