This Belimo electrical actuator is designed for controlling quarter turn valves. The actuator delivers a torque of 40 Nm and can open/close the valve in 35 seconds. This actuator requires a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC and has a visual positioning indicator to clearly see the valve position. The actuator utilizes a 0-10 V control type and provides position feedback, enabling precise control of its movements and accurate monitoring of its position within the specified voltage range. The actuator mounts to a quarter turn valve with an ISO 5211 F05 flanges. The actuator has a durable plastic housing and has an IP67 protection rating. This actuator can operate within ambient temperatures between -30 and 50 °C (-22 and 122 °F). A power cable can be easily attached via the terminal block.

The actuator is equipped with overload protection, the actuator doesn't need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. Manual override is possible using a push-button, which disengages the gear train as long as the button is pressed or remains locked. The actuator can be directly mounted on the rotary or butterfly valve with a mounting flange. The mounting orientation relative to the valve can be selected in 90° increments. The actuator can be controlled with a standard control signal of 0-10 V and moves to the position dictated by the control signal. Voltage measurement is employed both for visually displaying the valve position within the 0.5% to 100% range and as a control signal for other actuators. The rotation angle can be adjusted with mechanical end stops. The actuator is suitable for outdoor use and is protected against UV radiation, rain/snow, dirt/dust, air humidity, and frequent significant temperature fluctuations. To prevent internal condensation, it's recommended to use the actuator with separately orderable, factory-installed heating. The housing cover must be removed for manual override.
