This Belimo electrical actuator is designed for controlling quarter turn valves. The actuator delivers a torque of 20 Nm and can open/close the valve in 90 seconds. The modulating actuator is requires a 2-10 V input and offers position feedback, ensuring precise control over its operation and accurate monitoring of its position within the designated voltage range. The actuator contains an internal spring that returns the valve to its default position when the voltage is neutral. Actuator mounts to a quarter turn valve with an ISO 5211 F05 flanges. The actuator has a durable plastic housing and has an IP54 protection rating. This actuator can operate within ambient temperatures between -30 and 50 °C (-22 and 122 °F). The actuator is equipped with overload protection, the actuator doesn't need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. The valve can be manually operated and adjusted to any position using a hand crank. Unlocking can be done manually or automatically by applying the operating voltage. The actuator can be directly mounted on the rotary or butterfly valve with a mounting flange. The mounting orientation relative to the valve can be selected in 90° increments. The actuator connects with a standard 0-10 V control signal. The actuator moves the valve to the operating position while also tensioning the return spring. The valve returns to the fail-safe position by spring force when the supply voltage is interrupted. The rotation angle can be adjusted with mechanical end stops.
