Description
Brass DN 7.2 (Euro) air coupling plug with a 13 mm hose pillar connection. A pneumatic coupling is used to quickly connect air tools to a compressed air line. The coupling requires two parts: the socket (female) and the plug or nipple (male part). When disconnected, the coupling automatically shuts off to maintain the line pressure.
This coupling plug has similar properties as a safety coupling. The down-line hose is vented slowly through multiple venting notches. This prevents a dangerous bull whip effect of the hose. Easily mount a hose over the 13 mm hose pillar. Optionally, order a hose clamp for proper fixation of the hose. The plug is suitable for temperatures between -20 to 60°C. This DN 7.2 mm has a Euro profile and is popular within Europe.
This product is compatible with: Rectus (25, 26, 1600, 1625), TEMA (1600), CEJN (320), JWL (520, 530, 560), Legris (25, 26), Parker (PE, PEF), Prevost (E ... 07), Festo (KD4 / KS4), IMI-Norgren (238), Aventics (CP1-NW 7 / 7,8). They are often referred to as compressed air couplings, compressor couplings, pneumatic fittings, air hose couplings, etc.
Pros:
- Easily mount a hose over the 13 mm hose pillar. Optionally, order a hose clamp for proper fixation of the hose.
- Compatible with a wide range of air couplings with the same standard profile design.
Cons:
- Not suitable for vacuum applications.
CLP7-H-SE series
Our air coupler offering ranges from DN 2.7 - 19 mm for standard plugs and sockets, as well as a variety of safety air couplings, compressor couplings, manifolds, compressor claw couplings, and the CEJN Multilink system. Various connection types are available for each (female threads, male threads, hose pillar, union nut, etc.) with a wide range of min and max pressures. Our non-interchangeable color-coded options give you a clear visual indicator on what lines to connect. The safety air couplings have push-buttons, swivels, and slides as a safety release function. Our 42 mm compressor claw couplings follow DIN 3498 (similar) as well as DIN 3238 (Mody) for safety applications.
