This electrical actuator with fail safe function is offered in combination with a butterfly valve. It can turn the valve from 0-90 degrees in a time of 58 seconds. It requires a supply voltage of 24-240 V AC/DC has a duty cycle of 75%, and comes with a visual positioning indicator on top of the unit to clearly see valve position. It is also equipped with a battery safety return (BSR) as an electronic safety function. If power is lost, the battery will power the actuator enough to put the valve back to its normal state (normally open/closed depends on how it is mounted). The butterfly valve has a lug type flange for connecting it to the piping, a nominal diameter of DN 150, and is rated up to 6 bar (87.0 psi) for non-hazardous fluids. Please note that the maximum pressure may deviate based on the medium type, so carefully check the datasheet. The butterfly valve has a cast iron GGG 40 housing, stainless steel disc and an FKM seal. It is suitable for media temperatures between 5 and 180 °C (41 and 356 °F). The actuator has a IP67 degree of protection and is suitable for an environmental temperature of -20 to 70 °C (-4 and 158 °F).
