An electric door opener with integrated latch guide is built into the frame, opposite the latch of a mechanical lock, to lock or unlock it. The latch guide pushes the latch out of the electric door opener's latch catcher, so the door can be unlocked without unsightly notches in the frame. The long, wide strike plate is suitable for steel/aluminum frames and has a notch for the deadbolt so it can be mechanically locked.
