actuated globe valves for flow and process control

View our range of globe type control valves designed for use in open or closed control loops. They have actuators with integrated electronics for open/close or proportional control of the flow. The proportional globe control valves are either equipped with a position or process controller. These motorized globe valves are driven by a stepper motor and controlled by either an analog or digital signal.

The angular movement of the motor is converted to translational movement with the aid of a threaded spindle which is rigidly connected to the valve’s spindle. The valve spindle is connected to a control cone which affects the size of the opening. Elastomer seal is connected directly to the control cone so the media flows under the seat and doesn’t come in contact with the actuator.

The globe valves are made of brass or stainless steel with different seal materials like FKM, EPDM or PEEK. They are suitable for control of clean media that doesn’t react with the housing and seal material. The orifice sizes range from 2 to 10 mm with BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel) or inner NPT ports. The operating pressure for these valves ranges from 0 to 6 bar (0 to 87 psi) and media temperatures ranging from 0 to 70°C (32 to 158 °F).
