The Bürkert type 8611 is a compact controller suitable for use in small control system applications. The Bürkert type 8611 is fully compatible with and has been tested for use with all Bürkert proportional valves and sensors, as well as non-Bürkert control valves that use standard signals, including 4-20mA, 0-10V, or PWM-output. In addition to receiving process value feedback through three analogue inputs, including standard signal (4-20mA/0-10V), frequency, or RTD signal directly to the universal controller, the PI process controller also allows for the process switching points to be set using either a 4-20mA or 0-10V signal, or through the use of the keypad. It is also possible to set a cascade structure for temperature-specific control that considers both temperature and flow as inputs. With its proportional control capabilities, the 8611 controller can perform a wide range of control functions in various liquid and gas media. It also features continuous, 2-point, 3-point, and On/Off control, a ratio control function, and the ability to control proportional, process, and motor valves. Moreover, the controller can store information about Bürkert proportional valves and flow meters.
