CEJN Streamline Safety DN 7.2 Air Coupling Sockets With Union Nut

View Tameson’s wide range of CEJN streamline safety DN 7.2 air coupling sockets with union nut. These safety couplings release the down-line air pressure at the plug side in a safe, controlled manner by pulling the sleeve on the socket. The plug will not be released before the pressure at the plug side reaches a safe low level. This prevents the risk of a dangerous bull whip effect which may cause damage to man and machine. These fittings are specially designed for CEJN Streamline hoses. A pneumatic coupling is used to quickly connect air tools to a compressed air line. The coupling requires two parts: the socket (female) and the plug or nipple (male part). When disconnected, the coupling automatically seals off to maintain the line pressure. They are often referred to as compressed air couplings, compressor couplings, pneumatic fittings, air hose couplings, etc.
