The plug will not be released before the pressure at the plug side reaches a safe low level. This prevents the risk of a dangerous bull whip effect which may cause damage to man and machine. These fittings are specially designed for CEJN Streamline hoses. A pneumatic coupling is used to quickly connect air tools to a compressed air line. The coupling requires two parts: the socket (female) and the plug or nipple (male part). When disconnected, the coupling automatically seals off to maintain the line pressure.
