View Tameson's range of hydraulic couplings ISO 14540. Hydraulic piping couplings are built for use in harsh or extreme environments. They offer many advantages over the screw couplings standardized to ISO 14541. These can be coupled under pressure without leaks, they prevent air from penetrating during the installation process, prevent loss of media during decoupling, and the threads are less sensitive round threads. These high-pressure screw couplings fin their use mostly in hydraulic tools; for this reason, they are equipped with NPT threads. They can only be used with couplings that adhere to ISO 14540.
