The faucet ball valves have an outer threaded inlet port and the outlet port is a detachable hose barb. The stainless steel design offers excellent chemical resistance properties. Typical media are water, oil, fuels, compressed air and solvents. The port sizes range from 1/2 to 1 inch. The whole selection is handle operated. Turning the handle a quarter turn will open or close the valve. When the handle is in line with the pipe, the valve is open. When the handle is perpendicular to the pipe, the valve is closed.
