Water Solenoid Valve 220V
View Tameson's selection of water solenoid valves 220V AC. This category only contains solenoid valves ideal for water media applications to be run with a voltage of 220V AC. Note that the valve selection has solenoid's rated for 230V AC, but work properly on 220V AC. The The valves in this category have a brass housing, an EPDM seal and are normally closed (NC). These materials are a good and reliable solution for water applications.. When 220V AC is applied, the valves will quickly open allowing water to flow through. When power is not applied, the valve will close as they are considered normally closed (NC). They are 2/2-way valves, meaning they have 1 inlet and 1 outlet. Read below for additional product specification considerations.
Additional Water Solenoid Valve 220V Selection Criteria
The considerations for operating type are:
- Direct Operated: Doesn't require a pressure differential to function properly.
- Indirect Operated: Requires a pressure differential (typically 0.5 bar) to function properly.
- Semi-Direct Operated: A pressure differential isn't required, but assists in the operation.
Note: Proper valve orientation of inlet and outlet is important for proper function. The correct orientation is denoted with an arrow on the valve housing.
This selection of valves are 2/2-way, and the inlet and outlet ports are both female. The available port sizes are:
- ⅛ inch
- ¼ inch
- ⅜ inch
- ½ inch
- ¾ inch
- 1 inch
- 1-¼ inch
- 1-½ inch
- 2 inch
All products shown have a brass housing and an EPDM seal material. Brass as a housing material is ideal as it is resistant to water (won't rust) and is durable. EPDM as a seal material is ideal as it is suitable for water, good resistance to weather influences, and suitable up to a maximum temperature of 120 °C or 130 °C.
Note: These valves are rated for 230V AC, but will function properly with a 220V AC input.
