Water Solenoid Valve 230V
View Tameson's selection of water solenoid valves 230V AC. The solenoid coil is rated at 230V AC, but they will function properly on 220V AC - 240V AC. When the proper voltage is applied, the valve is quick acting and will open to allow water to flow through. When no voltage is applied, the valve will close. They have 1 inlet and 1 outlet, as they are 2/2-way valves. They have a brass housing and an EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer) seal making them ideal for water applications. Additional Water Solenoid Valve 230V Selection Criteria
The considerations for operating type are:
- Direct Operated: Doesn't require a pressure differential to function properly.
- Indirect Operated: Requires a pressure differential (typically 0.5 bar) to function properly.
- Semi-Direct Operated: A pressure differential isn't required, but assists in the operation.
This selection of valves are 2/2-way, and the inlet and outlet ports are both female. The available port sizes are:
- ⅛ inch
- ¼ inch
- ⅜ inch
- ½ inch
- ¾ inch
- 1 inch
- 1-¼ inch
- 1-½ inch
- 2 inch
All products shown have a brass housing and an EPDM seal material. Brass as a housing material is ideal as it is resistant to water (won't rust) and is durable. EPDM as a seal material is ideal as it is suitable for water, good resistance to weather influences, and suitable up to a maximum temperature of 120 °C or 130 °C.
These valves require an input voltage of 230V AC to operate. Note that these valves are rated for 230V AC, but will function properly with a 220V AC or 240V AC input.
