From showers to tire pumps
"The best-known example of products we sell with a solenoid valve are the coin-operated machines for showers at campsites. The moment a coin enters the machine, the magnetic valve ensures that the water starts to flow. And you probably also know those tire pumps where you can get your tires on the right pressure when you are on the road. Such a compressor is continuously under pressure. A Tameson valve ensures, in combination with our coin-operated solution, that this pump is easy to use and has the right amount of pressure. You can then choose whether you want control on the compressor or directly on the pump. The most common diameter of the valves we use is half-inch (12.7 mm). Usually we choose normally closed."
It started with internet pillars
Muntproever.nl is one of the e-commerce websites that Hicham has launched in the market. His company was founded in 2000 and originally started selling Internet pillars to catering companies. But after the introduction of smartphones, it soon became apparent that there was no longer a need for this in the long term. Therefore, Hicham decided to sell the coin-operated machines that controlled the internet pillar for other applications.
There is a solution for every application, from showers, dryers, and washing machines to horse washers. But also a system to fill up with osmosis water for window cleaners or a compressor for a tire pump where you can fill up with air after inserting a coin: Muntproever.nl can deliver it all.
Excellent cooperation
Since 2017, Muntproever.nl has been doing business with Tameson, and it suits them very well, says Hicham: "They offer us high-quality products that are available in countless variants and can be combined with each other. We buy the valves in bulk and then sell them as part of the complete system we offer to our customers. Most of the time we know exactly what we need, but if we need advice, Tameson is also there. This was the case once when we had a question about valves for water, air and oil. There is a difference in the rubbers and other details used for these. We got a very clear explanation about this and it gives us more insight, so we can better inform the customer about that part. Furthermore, the price of Tameson is good and the service and delivery times are also excellent. Nice example of service: we once had a customer who reported that the valve was making a noise. Tameson then gave instructions to clean it and if that did not work, the customer simply received a new valve. Thats just top service."
