Solenoid Valve 32x32mm SFB Flange NC Brass FKM 0-10bar/145psi 24VDC 6013 228162

Solenoid Valve 32x32mm SFB Flange NC Brass FKM 0-10bar/145psi 24VDC 6013 228162
Reference: 228162
Brand: Burkert

Burkert 2/2 way solenoid valve (type 6013) with 32x32 mm SFB flange and a 24 V DC coil. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed (voltage = open). The valve is direct operating, so no differential pressure required. Suitable for max media temperatures of 120 °C (248 °F) and a pressure range of 0 to 10 bar (145 psi). Housing of brass with FKM sealing and a 2.5 mm orifice. The Kv-value is 0.16 m3/h (2.67 l/min at dp = 1 bar water).
Note: DIN connector not included.

This is a Burkert direct operating 2/2 way solenoid valve with 32x32 mm SFB flange and a 24 V DC coil. The valve has a brass housing with FKM sealing and an orifice size of 2.5 mm. SFB is a Burkert specific flange design that enables compact mounting of multiple valves on a manifold. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed, which means the valve opens when voltage is applied. As it is direct operating, no pressure differential over the valve is needed to open the valve. Suitable for a pressure range of 0 to 10 bar (145 psi) and a maximum temperature of 120 °C (248 °F). The valve has a Kv-value of 0.16 m3/h, this translates to a flow rate of 3 l/min at a differential pressure of 1 bar (for water). In imperial units: Cv = 0.18, which means 0.18 GPM @ 1 psi pressure drop. For many applications it is enough to select a valve based on the thread size and orifice diameter. For more accurate sizing, use the Kv-value with our easy to use valve sizing calculator. The brass housing is durable, suitable for neutral fluids and resistant to many chemicals. The FKM (fluorine rubber or Viton) sealing has excellent chemical properties, is suited for most oils and solvents but it cannot handle hot water or steam. Please note that the internal valve parts, such as the stainless steel plunger and springs, are also in contact with the medium and must be chemically compatible. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium. The valve has an IP65 rating if properly connected. This version is labeled as an 'Analysis Version' and it is designed for extremely pure gaseous media. During the production process, all internal valve parts have been cleaned very thoroughly. This is to ensure that the media will not be contaminated under any circumstance.

Pros:

  • Good protection against the environment thanks to the IP65 rating
  • Analysis version with higher purity and tightness
  • Solenoid valves open and close very fast compared to many other valve types
  • SFB flange design enables compact mounting of multiple valves on a manifold

Cons:

  • Solenoid valves are very sensitive to dirt and can only be used with clean liquids and gases
  • The coil may get hot when energized. A well ventilated environment is recommended
  • DIN connector not included

Series:

The Bürkert 6013 valve is one of the most popular Bürkert solenoid valve types. The 6013 valve is a compact, direct operated plunger solenoid valve operating without differential pressure across the valve. The 6013 valve suits low-pressure applications and has versions operating up to 25 bars. The valve is designed for small flow rates with port sizes from G 1/8 inch up to G 3/8 inch and orifice sizes ranging from 2 to 6 mm. A special SFB flange design is also available, allowing installation onto manifolds with additional valves. Besides the versatile standard versions, the 6013 is available with options such as ATEX approval, DVGW gas approval, pulse coil (latching), manual override, kick-and-drop function (energy reduction), extreme temperature versions and oil and fat free versions for oxygen, vacuum and analysis applications.
