Notice: This product is discontinued and replaced by 352683
Bürkert 2/2-way solenoid valve (type 6213) with G1'' threads and a 230V AC coil. Normally closed (voltage = open) and semi-direct operating, so no differential pressure required. Housing of brass with EPDM sealing and a 25 mm orifice. Low risk of water hammer thanks to dampened closing. Suitable for drinking water.

Description
Bürkert semi-direct operating 2/2-way solenoid valve with G1'' inner threads and 230V AC (alternating current) coil. The valve has a brass housing with EPDM sealing and an orifice size of 25 mm. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed, which means the valve opens when voltage is applied. The brass housing is durable, suitable for neutral fluids and resistant to many chemicals. The EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber) sealing is suited for neutral fluids and many chemicals, but it has poor resistance to oils and fats. Please note that the internal valve parts, such as the stainless steel plunger and springs, are also in contact with the medium and must be chemically compatible. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium. The valve's design prevents water hammering. It is suitable for media with a high temperature (> 120°C). Satisfies all European drinking water requirements.
Important advantages
- This valve satisfies all European drinking water requirements
- Suitable for media with a high temperature (> 120°C)
- The risk of water hammer is low, thanks to the dampened closing
- The 6213 valve combines high flow capacity with the ability to operate with low pressure differentials
- Bürkert design: proven reliability & durability
6213 series
The Bürkert 6213 valve is a semi-direct operated valve. The plunger of the solenoid is coupled to the rubber membrane via a spring. The valve opens from zero bar, but only opens fully when a minimal pressure differential is present. Orifices up DN 40 and port sizes up to 2 inch are available. All 6213 valves satisfy protection class IP65 and it's housing has a damped design for quiet closing. The standard brass housing satisfies all European drinking water requirements. A special version (HP00) which opens the valve without differential pressure is available for gas and vacuum applications. For reduced energy requirement, all coils can be delivered with electronic power reduction.
