G1/4'' Stainless Steel 24VUC ATEX Solenoid Valve 6027 298649
Notice: This product is discontinued and replaced by 380720
Bürkert 2/2-way solenoid valve (type 6027) with G1/4'' threads and a 24V UC coil. Normally closed (voltage = open) and direct operating, so no differential pressure required. For media with max 130°C at a differential pressure of 0-60 bar. Housing of stainless steel with PTFE sealing and a 2 mm orifice. The Kv-value is 0.14 m3/h (2.33 l/min at dp=1 bar water). Certified up to ATEX zone 1.

Description
Bürkert direct operating 2/2-way solenoid valve with G1/4'' inner threads and 24V UC (alternating or direct current) coil. The valve has a stainless steel housing with PTFE sealing and an orifice size of 2 mm. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed, which means the valve opens when voltage is applied. Suitable for systems with a differential pressure of 0-60 bar and a maximum temperature of 130°C. The valve has a Kv-value of 0.14 m3/h, this translates to a flow rate of 2.33 l/min at the differential pressure of 1 bar (for water). The stainless steel housing is very durable, strong and resistant to a wide range of chemicals with the exception of chloride solutions. The PTFE (polytetrafluoroethene or teflon) sealing, is resistant to almost all media. Please note that the internal valve parts, such as the stainless steel plunger and springs, are also in contact with the medium and must be chemically compatible. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium. Since the valve has a maximum operational pressure of 60 bar, it can be used for high pressure applications. The valve is certified for ATEX Ex-Zone 1, so it can be used in potentially explosive environments requiring this certification. The valve has an IP65 rating if properly connected. Suitable for cold media with temperatures from -40°C.
Important advantages
- ATEX certified up to Ex-Zone 1
- Good protection against the environment thanks to the IP65 rating
- The 6027 is one of the most powerful direct operated plunger solenoid valves that operate from zero bar
- Suitable for high pressure applications up to 60 bar
- Bürkert design: proven reliability & durability
6027 series
The Bürkert 6027 valve is a direct operated plunger solenoid valve. No pressure difference is necessary to open the valve. Port connection sizes are available from 1/4" up to 1/2". This durable valve is available with a wide range of options. The 6027 type has a range of high pressure versions, including a version up to 250 bar with ceramic sealings. There are versions for oil burners, gas appliances (EN 161) and explosive environments (ATEX). An optional sliding ring bearing increases the service life with dry gases. High pressure versions for liquids, low temperature versions (from -40°C), as well as explosion proof versions are available.
