G1'' Stainless Steel 24VUC ATEX Solenoid Valve 5282 307201
Reference: 307201
Brand: Burkert

Bürkert 2/2-way solenoid valve (type 5282) with G1'' threads and a 24V UC coil. NC (default) and NO setup are both possible and indirect operating, so a small differential pressure required. Suitable for slightly contaminated and aggressive media (media separation). For media with max 90°C at a differential pressure of 0.2-10 bar. Housing of stainless steel with EPDM sealing and a 25 mm orifice. The Kv-value is 10 m3/h (166.67 l/min at dp=1 bar water). Manual override feature. Prevent water hammer with the adjustable closing time. Certified up to ATEX zone 1.

Bürkert indirect operating 2/2-way solenoid valve with G1'' inner threads and 24V UC (alternating or direct current) coil. The valve has a stainless steel housing with EPDM sealing and an orifice size of 25 mm. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed, which means the valve opens when voltage is applied. However, the function can easily be changed between NC and NO by rotating the pilot valve on the top side by 180 degrees. Suitable for systems with a differential pressure of 0.2-10 bar and a maximum temperature of 90°C. The valve has a Kv-value of 10 m3/h, this translates to a flow rate of 166.67 l/min at the differential pressure of 1 bar (for water). This model is media separated and can therefore be used for slightly contaminated and aggressive media. The stainless steel housing is very durable, strong and resistant to a wide range of chemicals with the exception of chloride solutions. The EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber) sealing is suited for neutral fluids and many chemicals, but it has poor resistance to oils and fats. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium. Manual override feature can be used to commission the system. You can separately adjust the opening and closing time of the valve with set screws, for example to prevent water hammer. The valve is certified for ATEX Ex-Zone 1, so it can be used in potentially explosive environments requiring this certification. The valve has an IP65 rating if properly connected. Suitable for cold media with temperatures from -25°C.

Important advantages

  • ATEX certified up to Ex-Zone 1
  • Can be used with slightly contaminated or aggressive media thanks to the media separated design
  • As standard, it is equipped with a robust manual override for easy comissioning and in case of a power outage
  • The response times (open and close) can be adjusted separately
  • The risk of water hammer is low, thanks to the dampened closing
  • Good protection against the environment thanks to the IP65 rating
  • Bürkert design: proven reliability & durability

5282 series

The Bürkert 5282 solenoid valve is used for the most demanding applications. The valve is built to last. The media separation makes the 5282 also suitable for aggressive media. Other interesting features are the standard manual override and adjustable opening and closing times. Furthermore, the circuit function can easily be changed from NC to NO, by simply rotating the 3/2 way pilot valve on top of the main valve body. The 5282 valve is available with a wide variation of housing and sealing materials. The brass housing satisfies all European drinking water requirements. Various ATEX versions are available for potentially explosive environment.
