The 3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin kit 92-NBA GS is a high-quality inline electrical splice, suitable for applications up to 1 kV. This kit contains the high-performing, epoxy-based, CMR-free 3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin 4 GS, which changes color once its two components have been correctly mixed. The unique 3M closed mix and pouring system allows for quick and clean delivery of the resin into the single-piece mold body design.
The 3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin kit 92-NBA GS is used for insulating and mechanically protecting low voltage cable connections up to 1 kV. There are eight product options ranging from Size 0 to Size 7, which can accommodate a broad range of cable cross sections from 1.5 mm2 up to 240 mm2. Additionally, Size 1 and Size 3 are available with a connector included.
The innovative design of the 3M™ Scotchcast™ Resin kit 92-NBA GS facilitates a fast and clean installation, thanks to the 3M-patented spout incorporated into the resin bag and the mold body. The phase spacer component included in the kit, along with the mold's complete transparency, ensures correct cable setting.
The 3M™ Scotchcast™ 4 GS hydrophobic and CMR-free epoxy resin complies with IEC 60455-3-8 requirements and EU directive 2011/65/EU (RoHS) and EU directive 1907/2007/EC (REACH). This guarantees the highest grade of electrical insulation for professional use.
