Description
This 2-way ball valve from JP Fluid Control with a nominal diameter of 25 mm is designed for on/off flow control. The valve has G 1 inch female threaded ports. This is BSPP (British Standard Pipe Parallel. With our range of 1 inch fittings, the valve can be installed in any pipe (recommended pipe diameter ± 20 - 30 mm).
The housing of the valve is made of nickel-plated brass, the ball is made of brass and the seals are made of PTFE. The valve has an integrated bleed point for pressure control or discharge from heating systems. It is suitable for various media, such as water, oil or air. The valve can be used up to a max pressure of 20 bar (290 psi) and within a temperature range between -10 and 110 °C (14 and 230 °F).
Use the handle to operate the valve. By rotating it 90 degrees, the valve will open or close. If the handle is perpendicular to the pipe, the valve is closed. This valve is not suitable for electrical or pneumatic control. For this purpose, valves with an ISO-Top flange (ISO 5211) are recommended.
Pros:
- No extra friction losses thanks to the full bore design
- Equipped with an integrated bleed point for pressure control
Cons:
- Not suitable for aggressive media
- Suitable only for manual actuation
68 series
