This foot valve has a connection of G1-1/2inch (female thread BSP). A foot valve is placed on the bottom of a suction pipe, and prevents the pipe from draining when the pump is switched off. The pump starts better with a filled suction pipe. The foot valve consists of a non-return valve in combination with a filter. The filter makes sure that dirt particles cannot reach the pump. The non-return valve is made of polyamide (nylon). The filter has a nylon thread and a stainless steel mesh.
