8mm - R1/8" 0.6mm Elbow Orifice Fitting
This is an elbow 0.6 mm orifice fitting used for air flow control. It is designed to fix the air flow rate by restricting it with a significantly smaller orifice in the threaded side of the fitting. It has a 8 mm push-in fitting on one side and an R 1/8 inch male threaded port on the other side. Also suitable for vacuum applications at a pressure of -1 bar (-14.5 psi). It has NBR seals that make it suitable for applications within a temperature range from 0 to 60 °C (32 to 140 °F).

Description
This is an elbow 0.6 mm orifice fitting used for air flow control. It is designed to fix the air flow rate by restricting it with a significantly smaller orifice in the threaded side of the fitting.
It has a 8 mm push-in fitting on one side and an R 1/8 inch male threaded port on the other side. The push-in fitting provides an easy connection with the tubing. Push the tube in and the fitting will fix it with stainless steel claws.
Also suitable for vacuum applications at a pressure of -1 bar (-14.5 psi). It has NBR seals that make it suitable for applications within a temperature range from 0 to 60°C (32 to 140 °F) (no freezing).
Pros:
- Simple design
- Small installation place
- Lower cost than a throttle (needle) valve
- Suitable for vacuum applications
- Equipped with easy to connect push-in fittings
Cons:
- Non-adjustable orifice size
- Dust could damage the pneumatic system if vacuum is applied without a filter on the inlet side
PL series
The PL – series includes elbow brass/PBT orifice fittings designed for air flow control. The threaded fitting side for all fittings is male threaded R1/8 inch with 18 different possible orifice fitting sizes ranging from 0.3 to 2.0 mm. The push-in fitting sizes range from 4 to 8 mm. These flow restrictors are suitable for a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar and -1 bar for vacuum. These orifice fittings are sealed with NBR O-rings that make them suitable for temperatures ranging from 0 to 60°C.
