This DVGW-certified backwash filter is intended for filtering drinking and process water. Its body is made of brass and features a plastic bowl. The port size is R 1 inch with male threads. The flow rate is 58 l/min. This backwash filter can operate within a temperature range of 5 to 40 °C (41 to 104 °F) (medium 5 to 30 °C/41 to 86 °F) and handle an input pressure of 2 to 16 bar (232 psi). The filter has a pore width of 90 µm and can be rinsed through a 13 mm hose screw connection or an HT tube with a diameter of Ø 50 mm. This backwash filter is also suitable for chemical-free cooling water from once-through cooling systems. The backwash filter protects pipelines and system components from malfunctions and corrosion caused by foreign particles like rust, chips, sand, and hemp. The filter element is regularly cleaned through manual backwashing. The removed dirt and the rinsing water can be expelled through a hose or an HT pipe.
