G1''x28mm Compression Fitting WRAS approval. Compression fittings offer a convenient way to connect gas or water pipes. Make sure that the pipe is cut straight and that it is free of burrs and sanded smooth. Burrs can inhibit proper sealing. To cut a pipe straight it can be useful to use a pipe cutter.

Next, slide the nut over the end of the pipe. Then slide the ring over the end. Insert the pipe straight into the body and screw the nut on the fitting. Tighten the nut firmly with two wrenches. Don't over tighten, over tightening can cause damage and/or leakage.
