Stainless steel DN 7.2 (Euro) air coupling socket with G 1/2 inch male threads. A pneumatic coupling is used to quickly connect air tools to a compressed air line. The coupling requires two parts: the socket (female) and the plug or nipple (male part). When disconnected, the coupling automatically shuts off to maintain the line pressure.

The G 1/2 inch male threads allow for it to be threaded onto a matching female threaded part. This coupling is suitable for vacuum applications. The socket has a double sided shut-off design. They can be used with normal plugs and with 'double-sided shut off' plugs. When double-sided shut off plugs are disconnected, they shut off flow in both directions. The operating pressure range is -0.95 to 35 bar. The socket is suitable for temperatures between -15 to 200°C. The rated flow rate is 800 l/min. The seal material is FPM/FKM. The housing material is stainless steel 303 (1.4305). The hex size is 24 mm. This DN 7.2 mm has a Euro profile and is popular within Europe.
