The straight fixed ball point with female thread is designed for use as a phase-side and earth-side point of connection on the conductor and the earthing system, in compliance with EN/IEC 61230 (DIN VDE 0683-100). Its high mechanical strength is due to the fact that the thread is not cut, making it suitable for fixing cable lugs or connecting busbars as per DIN 43673-1. It has a maximum short circuit current of 42kA, a straight construction, and a connection of the earthing and short circuit-proof point of 25mm. The maximum diameter of the copper wire is 150mm², and the diameter of the fixed ball point is 25mm.
