The HVI Conductor is a high-voltage-resistant, insulated down conductor, encased in a supporting tube to maintain separation from electrically conductive parts as per DIN EN 62305-3. It prevents flashovers between parts of the external lightning protection and internal conductive sections, such as electrical installations and pipelines. The conductor's special outer sheath prevents creeping discharge and allows for the discharge of high lightning impulse voltages to a reference potential. Its grey design includes an internal sealing end and an EB spring element within the supporting tube (length 3200mm) with an air-termination tip (D10mm, length 1000mm), earth connection element and tripod. The equivalent separation distance is less than or equal to 75cm in air and 150cm in solid material.
