The HVI Conductor is a high-voltage-resistant, insulated down conductor encased in a supporting tube that complies with IEC 62305-3 to prevent dangerous flashover between lightning protection system and indoor conductive parts. The conductor, available in grey, features a special outer sheath for discharging high lightning impulse voltages, sealing end, EB spring element and an earth connection element. The conductor is made from copper, has a cross-section of 19mm², a nominal diameter of 5mm, one strand, and an outer diameter of 23mm. The separation distances are ≤ 075 cm (air), ≤ 150 cm (solid material).
