The Dehn HVI Long is a high-voltage-resistant, insulated down conductor designed for maintaining the separation distance from conductive elements as per IEC 62305-3, minimizing the risk of dangerous flashovers between elements of the exterior lightning protection system and indoor conductive parts. It features a 19mm² copper conductor with a class 2 composition, a 5mm nominal diameter with 7 wires, and an XLPE (VPE) sheath with an outdoor diameter of 23mm. To prevent creeping discharge, the conductor has a specific outer sheath that enables it to discharge high lightning impulse voltages to a reference potential. It's cut to 6m - 70m length on-site for easy assembly.
