It guards low-voltage consumer's installations from surges, including those caused by direct lightning strikes. For effective protection, it should be installed at the boundaries between lightning protection zones 0A - 2. The arrester has a nominal AC voltage of 230V, maximum continuous voltage of AC 255V, and a safety level of 1.5kV.
