JP Fluid Control 2 way solenoid valve (type DF-SA) with G 3/8 inch threads and a 24 V DC coil. The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed (voltage = open) and semi-direct operating, so no pressure differential is required. Suitable for max media temperature of 120° C (248 ° F) pressure range of 0 - 6 bar (0 - 87 psi). Housing of stainless steel with FKM (FPM) sealing and a 16 mm orifice. The Kv-value is 4.09 m3/h (68.18 l/min at dp=1 bar water).

This is a JP Fluid Control semi-direct operating 2 way solenoid valve with G 3/8 inch threads and a 24 V DC coil. The valve has a stainless steel housing with FKM (FPM) sealing and an orifice size of 16 mm (approximately 5/8 inch). The circuit function of the solenoid valve is normally closed, which means the valve opens when voltage is applied.
The valve is suitable for pressures of 0 - 6 bar (0 - 87 psi) and a maximum temperature of 120° C (248° F). The valve has a Kv-value of 4.09 m3/h, which translates to a flow rate of 68.18 l/min at a differential pressure of 1 bar (for water). In imperial units: Cv = 4.73, which means 4.73 GPM @ 1 psi pressure drop. For simple applications it is often enough to select a valve based on the thread size and orifice diameter. The stainless steel housing is very durable, strong and resistant to a wide range of chemicals with the exception of chloride solutions. Consult our chemical resistance chart to verify compatibility of housing and seals with the medium. The valve has an IP65 rating if properly connected.

  • Solenoid valves use energy while activated and the coil may get hot. A well ventilated installation environment is recommended to dissipate the heat

DF-SA series

The DF-SA is a semi-directly operated 2/2-way solenoid valve (normally closed). The valve has an orifice from 16 mm up to 25 mm. The DF-SA series operates from 0 bar and is suitable for medium flow rates. The body is available in brass or stainless steel with an NBR, EPDM or FKM seal. The DF-SA solenoid valves are compatible with the coils from the CS2 (up to 1 inch) and CS8 (from 1-1/4 inch) series.
The valves are available with BSP or NPT threads on request.
