This diffuse-reflective photoelectric sensor has a transmitter and receiver integrated within the same housing. It has a background fade-out and only reacts to objects that are at a different, varying distance from it. The rest of the objects are ignored. The detection range is from 10 to 300 mm and the maximum switching distance is the 250 mm. It has an M8 connector with 3-pin. Switching mode: PIN 4 - light-switching. The operating voltage 10 - 30 V DC and the control output 100mA (PNP). The sensor is IO-Link capable.

The diffuse-reflective photoelectric sensor has transmitter and receiver integrated within the same housing, similar to the retroreflective photoelectric sensor. As opposed to retroreflective photoelectric sensors, this one does not require a reflector. An object's light reflection is evaluated by the sensor. When an object reflects a light beam, the sensor's output is connected to the receiver. Scanning distances are specified for a standard object with 90% re-emission (white paper). A diffuse-reflective photoelectric sensor with background fade-out only reacts to objects that are at a different, varying distance from it. The rest of the objects are ignored.
