DN 8 Clamp FLOWave Flowmeter Stainless Steel - 8098 - 571780

DN 8 Clamp FLOWave Flowmeter Stainless Steel - 8098 - 571780
Reference: 571780
Brand: Burkert

This Bürkert SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeter (type 8098) is designed for applications with the highest hygienic demands. The sensor has DN 8 clamp ports and measures flow rate (volume) and temperature. Suitable for media temperatures from -20 to 140°C (-4 to 284°F), and for ambient temperatures from -10 to 70°C (14 to 158°F). It can withstand a maximum pressure of up to 25 bar (351 psi). Optimal results are achieved when measuring homogeneous liquids free of solid particles and air. The device is not suitable for gas and steam, but their flow does not have any negative effect on the device or its operation, and other liquids flowing through it afterwards are measured correctly. FDA compliant, food-grade materials and hygiene certified. The flow meter has a rated voltage from 12 V to 35 V DC and uses Service-büS communications protocol.

Series

Burkert`s SAW (Surface Acoustic Waves) flowmeters are designed for applications with the highest hygienic demands. FLOWave is lightweight, compliant with various standards, easy to install, clean and handle. For optimal measurement results, use it with homogeneous liquids, free of solid particles and air. An integrated viscosity compensation can be used for high viscosity liquids. It is not suitable for gas and steam, but their flow does not have any negative effect on the device or its operation and other liquids flowing through it afterwards are measured correctly. A density measurement option is available in addition to volume flow. Based on volume flow and density measurements, this option calculates mass flow. Additional information about the fluid in use can be derived from special functions, such as differentiation factor, acoustic transmission factor, and concentration.
